Introduction


Hi folks! My name is Neeraj. I have graduated from RGUKT - RK Valley campus in May 2014 with Btech in Electronics and Communication and passed out with Mtech VDTT in IIT Delhi in June 2017. Currently I am working as Scientist B in DRDO.

The blog would be useful for all those, for whom ECE is the world of survival.

Initially I would give you information about Mtech in IITs in ECE branch.

    1. VDTT - IIT DELHI ( WHERE I AM RIGHT NOW )
    2 IEC - IIT DELHI
    3. IIT BOMBAY ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS - 70%. ( IF WAITED UPTO LAST ROUND)
    4. IIT MADRAS VLSI ALSO 70% ( UPTO LAST WAIT)
    5. IIT KGP VLSI 80% U WILL GET ( LAST ROUND)
    6. IIT DELHI - COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY.
    I GUESS REST ALL BRANCES LESS SIGNIFICANT THAN THESE WILL ANY HOW BE URS....

    hi sir,
    what about the placement status for in iits for m.tech ece branch folks and does gap after b.tech makes hurdles in placements? pls reply to this question .... its quite a deciding factor for me to give up IT job and prepare for gate.

      Many folks come after 2 yrs of experience to Mtech after taking GATE coaching. Few come after one year coaching or 2 yrs coaching after Btech. In placements it will not affect unless there is only one vacancy and the company prefers the person, who doesn't have gap. Or else it is fine. No issues. I myself had 1yr of Infosys experience before Mtech.

      CSE has lesser number of seats. If u r from general category, less than 300 I guess for Old IITs. Read the blog. U will get to know, the rest of the preparation strategy.

    I know this is a very old blog, but i'm posting my doubt nonetheless.
    I'm in my 4th year of B.Tech(ECE) and unfortunately couldn't get a core job(got a software job), what do you think about the idea of preparing for GATE while doing a 9 to 6 job?. Note: Can't stay unemployed due to family issues.
